Overwatch 2 Unveils Season 15: Mythic Highlights, Galactic Arsenal, and Additional Features

In Season 15, Blizzard is spicing up Overwatch 2 with a slew of fresh cosmetics, giving fans plenty to get excited about. Each season introduces a new array of ways to deck out your favorite characters, with items available through the battle pass, store purchases, and in-game challenges. Overwatch 2’s cosmetics are renowned for their diversity, ensuring that every hero can find their perfect look.

The pinnacle of these cosmetics comes in the form of Mythic skins, which dramatically transform heroes and their weapons. Season 15 has something special in store for Zenyatta, as the Support hero will receive a striking new Mythic skin. Each season brings these standout skins, and Season 15 continues that tradition.

Speaking of which, Blizzard hasn’t held back in teasing what’s coming down the pipeline either. Aside from the new look for Zenyatta, Damage hero Widowmaker will be gifted a Mythic weapon partway through Season 15. For those already looking ahead, Blizzard has hinted at some upcoming themes. For Season 16, we can expect a “Magical Girls” motif, which fans know as Maho Shojo. This season’s skins are divided into two distinct groups: Heroes of Heart and Hollow Hearts. Juno will be the star, receiving a Mythic skin inspired by this magical theme, while Mercy will showcase the season’s Mythic weapon.

Looking even further, Season 17 has D.Va lined up for a Siberian tiger-themed Mythic overhaul, and Reaper will be equipped with the Mythic weapon. Moreover, in 2025, we’ll see exciting collaborations continue, including a fresh set of cosmetics tied to the popular South Korean girl group Le Sserafim, expected to drop in March.

As always, the availability of these coveted items will vary. While some may be unlocked through loot boxes, others will require players to either tackle the battle pass or head to the store. Regardless, 2025 promises a vibrant array of skins for Overwatch 2 enthusiasts to collect.
