This past week was a milestone for Xbox’s vision of becoming a true multiplatform powerhouse. Forza Horizon 5 has debuted on PlayStation, marking a significant shift for the franchise. Technically speaking, it’s a triumph. In fact, Xbox has managed to create an experience on the PS5 Pro that even surpasses its own Series X.
Whether you’re in favor or against Xbox games being available beyond their own consoles, it’s clear that this approach isn’t going anywhere. Xbox is firmly committed to bringing fantastic games to the widest possible audience, whether that’s through their own hardware, platforms like Steam and Battle.net on PC, or even via the cloud, and now, by welcoming PlayStation and Nintendo into the fold.
Imagine if this inclusivity could flow in the other direction, with Sony sharing some of its gems with Xbox players. While some PlayStation titles have found their way to PC, seeing them on Xbox is a different ball game. At least there’s MLB: The Show! So, in a perfect gaming universe, which PlayStation games would you love to see make their way to the Xbox console? I’m curious to hear your thoughts!
As for me, there are some clear champions. The Spider-Man series, including Spider-Man Remastered, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and the anticipated Spider-Man 2, would be stellar additions to the Xbox library. I’ve enjoyed these adventures on both PlayStation and PC and would be thrilled to dive back into them on the Xbox Series X|S. The original Spider-Man remains one of my top gaming experiences.
Another title I’d like to see cross over is Days Gone. I’ve already dabbled with it on PC, and I believe it would thrive on Xbox. Its unique charm sets it apart from other titles like State of Decay, although I feel it hasn’t quite received the recognition it deserves.
And while I’m partial to the Forza Motorsport series, I’d likely give Gran Turismo 7 a spin on Xbox too. But those are just my picks. What about you? Whether it’s a beloved classic or the latest hit from the other side, what PlayStation games would make your wish list for an Xbox debut? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’m looking forward to hearing your ideas!
