Sure thing, let’s give this a go:

So, wow, The Witcher 3 has been around for ten whole years. Hard to believe, right? While everyone’s dusting off their old favorites, there’s this buzz going around about a new mod that might just breathe fresh life into your Witcher replay session. Yeah, all the chatter about the game anniversary got me all nostalgic too.
Anyway—no, wait—what was I saying? Oh, yeah. So, this fresh twist comes from swapping out one Witcher skill system for another. It’s like trading an old hat for an older one. Maybe it’s better? Who really knows until you try it, right?
Some modder named Gerwant30 (the name’s kinda catchy, isn’t it?) is offering us this Witcher 1 talent tree makeover for The Witcher 3. Fun fact: Gerwant30 actually nabbed second place in one of those modding contests CD Projekt throws. I’m not sure what that place got them, but hey, second’s still a win in my book.
And now, thanks to the “Tales of the Witcher” project—which sounds pretty epic—they’re tossing the Witcher 1 skill system into TW3’s world. Imagine having “13 new talent trees and over 200 skills.” Yeah, it’s like a candy store for RPG lovers or something.
So, in this mod, you’re working your way up with bronze, silver, and gold talents—sounds fancy, huh? As you level up, you start with bronze talents, then it’s a slow climb to silver and gold. The more you play, the more you feel like a master witcher. There are four major trees, each just stacked with skills. And then those Witcher signs—each sign gets its own skill tree. If you love deep dives into character builds, this one’s for you.
But, heads up: it’s still a beta work-in-progress. Some stuff might still be a bit… well, raw. Also, if you’re thinking about using this with anything other than a brand-new playthrough, don’t. Gerwant30 made sure we know that it won’t gel well with old saves or the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine DLCs. You’ll also need another mod called ‘Alchemy’ by SkylineR390 to get the full experience.
Lastly, if you fancy some camera magic, PsychoCaki’s ‘SCAAR’ and TheMenxceX and ElementaryLewis’ camera mod—yeah, they might add a nice touch.
So, did you like the old school skill approach from the first Witcher, or is TW3’s way just too comfy now? Toss your thoughts out there!
