Alright, let’s chat about Elden Ring Nightreign’s latest update because, honestly, I didn’t think there’d be one this week. Boom—update dropped outta nowhere. No downtime shenanigans, so don’t panic. But hey, update your game if you wanna hang out with others online. Makes sense, right?
So, we got update 1.01.4 here, just tagging along after 1.01.3, which, by the way, hit us sometime in June. Can’t say I remember exactly when, but it was definitely June-ish. This update throws in some necessary tweaks for us players. Well, most of us. Maybe. I dunno.
Now, I must totally mention this—there’s, like, a new “feature” where weapon types pop up in this Armament Info menu thingy. Probably helps when deciding if you should chuck that sword or not. Useful? Debatable.
The rest of the update? All bug fixes. Some were a bit of a nightmare if they happened during your gameplay. Like, imagine your team joins, then poof—leaves instantly. Matchmaking? Nope. Doesn’t work unless you reboot the thing. Yikes. Not anymore, though. They sorted it out. Phew.
Oh, and some awkwardness with gestures and achievements got sorted too. Bad news? Gotta meet the requirements again. Sorry not sorry.
And just so you know, something spooky about the Sentient Pest Nightlord coming as Everdark Sovereign. Sounds dramatic, right? But that’s tomorrow, on July 3. Didn’t see that coming.
Plus, tougher Nightlords now exist. Called Everdark Sovereigns. Beat the regular ones, and bam, you level up to these bad boys. Fun? Jury’s out.
Two of ‘em are already here—the Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaws and Darkdrift Knight. New attacks, sneakier than before, obviously designed to trip up us poor souls who thought we knew what to expect. Surprise!
Jumping ahead (or behind?), there’s this pic of Gnoster the Sentient Pest. Not my favorite name choice, but hey, it’s coming to haunt… I mean, entertain us.
So here’s all the nitty-gritty from update 1.01.4. Weapon type displays—so helpful. Matchmaking and gesture fixes—yes, please. Some quirky bugs getting a good ol’ squish. Revivals from near-death? Only in-game, folks. And other such adventurous bug fixes.
If you’re still with me and haven’t fallen asleep, our guide’s got lots more Elden Ring Nightreign goodies. Recently jazzed it up with a Revenant Remembrance quest walkthrough and a compass pointing to all those juicy map events. Rewards galore!
Oh gosh, did I just ramble? Probably. Anyway—game updates, right?
