Yep, all you need is a piece of paper, some six-sided dice (ten of them, to be exact), and a trusty pencil with an eraser. Go figure.
Now, this little gem is called Spindlejack. Picture a courier hustling around on a space station called Far Spindle, which, surprise surprise, pops up in Citizen Sleeper 2. It’s all about work, routine—you know, life stuff. You’re zipping around delivering packages to earn some CRED (gotta love futuristic currency names) and up your REP. But watch out, ’cause if your bike overheats, game over for that delivery. And if that REP tanks enough, well, it’s curtains for you. They even toss in a map for you to scribble your journey and track encounters.
Anyway, it’s like a bite-sized version of the video game’s headaches and resource juggling. Thinking about it, Citizen Sleeper was kinda refreshing because it leaned so hard into its tabletop roots.
