Sony revealed the lineup for the PS Plus games in December 2024 yesterday, coinciding with the celebrations for PlayStation’s 30th anniversary. However, gamers are notably underwhelmed. Among the Essential titles for next month is a game that was previously dropped from PS Plus Extra earlier in the year, meaning many subscribers may have already played it.

Naturally, there’s been some chatter among fans, with many feeling Sony missed an opportunity to deliver something special for the milestone anniversary. Instead, they’re disappointed by what they see as a lackluster selection given the significance of the occasion.
