Alright, so here we go with a crazy dive into what’s cooking in Warframe-ville. You know, the spacey game that’s always zipping across galaxies and whatnot. So, buckle up, because the next stop is, wait for it… Tau! Yep, like, the outer space version of the holy grail or something. No idea why I’m so excited about a place that’s virtual and not, like, a hidden treasure in my backyard, but anyway—where was I?
Oh, right. So, this update called The Old Peace, right? Happening at the end of the year. The big brains at Digital Extremes threw some breadcrumbs about this over at TennoCon, their yearly hangout gig. And even though they weren’t like, “hey, here’s the entire plot,” they gave us morsels. Just enough to speculate wildly, ya know?
So, we’re zooming into Tau. Apparently, a whole bunch of Warframe’s storyline is tied to this elusive spot. It’s like, remember when you tried to reach that shelf as a kid, but it was just out of reach? That longing is basically what they describe here. But where does The Old Peace fit into this storyline puzzle? Beats me. My memory isn’t as sharp as it should be.
Anyway, not to go off on a tangent, but the trailer’s got our Operator doing some heavy memory trip with Loid and the Lotus – maybe some trippy experiment to unlock memories of Tau? I mean, hey, you get to see them bonding with Adis, a Sentient chum, till, bam, there’s this rebellion-chaos thing on a moon. Childhood nostalgia meets cosmic unrest. Nice combo, huh? Or maybe confusing. Who knows.
If your brain’s scrambled, don’t panic. Warframe’s never been more inviting to newcomers. They’re rolling out some fresh narrative bits and launching something called “The Teacher.” Developed with Sumo Digital or someone. Sounds like a crash course on modding – a system that’s apparently key but also, like, why is it so arcane? Seriously!
And, oh, we’re getting Uriel, a new Warframe. Kind of a big deal. Plus, a standalone quest about this “Devil’s Triad” thing with Uriel, Harrow, and Wisp. Protoframes everywhere, whatever that means. Wish I understood all of it, but, hey, it’s something to look forward to if you’re into cosmic shenanigans.
Keep an ear out for more during their October devstream thingy. There’s always more, right? Because, y’know, more is… more.
