Prince of Persia Remake Set for 2026 Release, Says Ubisoft

Okay, so here’s the deal. I stumbled upon this post or announcement or whatever — they’re still doing it, digging into the game. And not just poking around aimlessly, but like… constructing and making sure the sands or whatever are swirling around with some kind of purpose. Weird, right? But kinda cool. Anyway, the team behind this, they’re into it. Like, really into it. Pouring their souls (and obviously gallons of coffee — because who can function without it?) into every single bit. It’s wild dedication, I guess. Oh! And a big thanks to all you folks hanging in there with them. It’s like a community hug or something.

So, right along with this update — which, let’s face it, couldn’t have been complete without some eye candy — there’s this jaw-dropping picture. A domed building, all majestic and stuff with the sun doing its dramatic set in the background. But, and here’s a tiny hiccup, the prince — the star of the show — decided to sit this one out. Not even a cameo. Strange, huh?

Now, quick detour — and by that, I mean, remember how there was supposed to be this big reveal or something during the Summer Game Fest? Yeah, well, nada. Zilch. No Ubisoft Forward event to be found. So, for those keeping score at home, this update is about as good as you’re gonna get. But it’s something, I guess? And hold onto your hats because, drumroll, please… 2026 is still the magic number for all of this to become a reality.
