Okay, so let me just dive into this. SEGA, right? They’ve gone and dropped a freebie demo for their 2D game. It’s all about ninjas, ’cause… why not? It’s called “Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.” Very dramatic, isn’t it? You grab it on Nintendo Switch via the eShop. Handy.
So, picture this: you’re in Oboro Village. Looks like someone had a beef BBQ gone wrong because it’s, well, torched. As you do, you get to whack enemies and hop around obstacles. Oh, and apparently, you can collect points – if you’re into that kind of thing. They even added some special gameplay stuff in the demo that’s usually locked in the full game. Sneaky, right?
This game — kinda artsy, by the way. Lizardcube had a hand in drawing it, so expect some snazzy visuals. You’re playing as Joe Musashi. Kind of an OG ninja. Dude gets home and finds everything ruined. Nice welcome home party, eh? Anyway, he’s all mad and sworn to get revenge. He’s slicing and dicing through bosses that probably took forever to draw. More than a dozen stages to explore, which means plenty of time to, uh, get lost or maybe find some cool secrets.
The game’s got these ninja tools: swords, Kunai, arts — you name it. If it sounds fancy, you can probably find it. Mastering ninja arts? Check. Endless combos? Naturally. Pick up some Amulets for extra power, like a good luck charm or something. Also, Ningi tools — whatever those are, sound like a must-have for busting through obstacles.
The big day for this digital ninja fest is August 29, 2025. Mark it if you care. If not, well, that’s your call.
Where was I? Oh, trailers, screenshots, yada yada. All the jazz you’d expect. Honestly, if ninjas and explosions are your thing, maybe take a peek? If not, there’s always something else to do, right?
