Okay, so like, imagine everything you’ve ever done in a game gets a remix. New Game+ is like the sequel you didn’t know you needed, but with all your old stuff still in your backpack. You keep your stats, which is cool, right? You’re still you… just, kinda a leveled-up you, tackling these retro goals with some new ones like Pro and Expert whatnots.
Pro Goals in every park — it’s like a scavenger hunt on a skateboard. You gotta hit that Platinum Score (sounds shiny!), pull off these tricks that defy, uh, common sense? Plus, you’ve got this C-O-M-B-O thing. Like S-K-A-T-E but turbo mode. All letters, one run. No pressure or anything. And the Expert Challenges — it’s like they were really digging in to see if anyone had skateboarding in their veins. Speedruns, score challenges, gap combos? All I can say is, good luck.
Then there’s Solo Tours. Drag everything you learned into these tours. Every skater is apparently a new test. Complete these mind-numbing base and Pro Goals. But hey, there’s more cash. Maybe? Depending on your skater’s mojo, you’ve got new tricks and S-K-A-T-E letters playing hide and seek. Keeps it from going stale, I guess.
So here’s the fun part — Multiplayer! Cross-platform chaos, tossing eight skaters together. There’s this new thing called HAWK mode. It’s basically hide and seek but with letters. You drop them on crazy spots — like, put the H somewhere the sun doesn’t even reach. And then you gotta be the guy (or gal) to snag your buddy’s letters before the timer gets all bossy. Keep any letters hidden, and you rake in bonus points. Three rounds of pure adrenaline. Winner gets to brag non-stop.
Ah, the classics are back too! You wanna just skate without the stress? Free Skate’s your jam. Mighty classics like Trick Attack or Combo Mambo make a return. Imagine topping the scoreboards in Tag or Horse — timecapsules from your skater days resurrected. Adjusting time, score limits, picking parks… whatever feels right.
Then there’s all this Quality of Life stuff. Voice Chat is there if you love shouting encouragements — or, you know, some wild words. Toggle it, find your party, or just shout to everyone. Or not. Streamer Mode’s there to cut out the tunes that get awkward during streaming. Replace them with those awesome, non-copyright tunes.
Oh, and Create-A-Park is in the mix somewhere. But, I mean, that’s a whole other adventure.
