‘Beat Saber’ Ends PSVR & PSVR 2 Updates Today, Multiplayer to Close in 2026

Okay, so here’s the thing. I stumbled upon this announcement — something about Beat Saber, right? You know, that game where you slice those colorful blocks to the beat? Anyway, Meta, or should I say Beat Games, just dropped this bomb on PSVR and PSVR 2 users. Apparently, no more updates. Not now, not ever. And multiplayer? Say goodbye to that next year. Wild, I know.

So, there was this post — I think on X. Or was it Y? Kidding. No, really, they decided no more updates for PS4 and PS5. Like, they’re setting their sights on the future with some grand plans for Beat Saber. New horizons or whatever. But don’t panic, you can still play and buy the game — plus all those songs you grabbed.

Speaking of tunes, anything that popped up before June 18th? Yeah, all yours. But nothing new after that. Cross-buy stays, though, which is… something, right? Oh, and Sony’s last dance with Beat Saber DLC was this Lady Gaga banger, ‘Abracadabra.’ Came out early June.
