Somehow, the other day, while sipping lukewarm coffee (trust me, it wasn’t intentional), I stumbled upon this thing about Resolute Games, right? So, these folks decided to kickstart this VRMMO gig named Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist. Funny name, I guess. But I’m curious now, ‘cause they not only hit the $100k mark but kept going. It’s wild.
Uh, okay, so they kicked things off on June 24. Random thought: June bugs would probably hate VR. Anyway, they wanna bring back that Orbus VR vibe. You remember Orbus, right? Nah, neither do I. Kinda hazy, honestly.
Yeah, these ex-Orbus players got together, calling themselves Resolute Games. Weirdly warms my heart, like seeing your old bandmates jamming again. Oh, oh—within something like 1.5 hours of launch, they smashed their $25k “all or nothing” goal. Totally low for such a grand plan: think multiple classes, quests, magic, combat, guilds, dungeons, the works. Cooking, too. Maybe I should learn to cook.
Their founder, Lynn M. Souza, pitched this idea kinda like “Zenith.” Smart move, trying to get the ball rolling, right? Now, they’ve pulled off all these stretch goals. Like, they’re adding a Bonfire healing thingy and these Earth and Air powers—what even are those?
Oh, also, there’ll be a new species to play with and, get this, player housing with guest access. Pets are next on the list once they hit $125k. Not just cute fuzzballs; they’ll be useful too.
And, um, Eldramoor’s supposed to hit our virtual shelves in late 2026 on Quest 3 and SteamVR. Gosh, 2026 sounds like forever. More time, though: the crowdfunding ends on July 24. Maybe it’s your thing? I’m just the messenger here, kinda lost in VR dreams.
