Treyarch has tackled the snag in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Hit List event related to its elimination count cap. After a quick probe, Treyarch straightened out the issue surrounding how these eliminations were being tracked.

Earlier, the CODUpdates Twitter feed had shed light on a glitch where the Hit List eliminations seemed to halt at 25 billion, although the actual numbers were being correctly tracked on the backend. Thankfully, since the backend was accurately logging progress, players’ advancement in this event faced no disruptions. Alongside this announcement, CODUpdates shared some insights on a Trello board dedicated to Black Ops 6 issues, which besides noting the release of a fix, detailed other known concerns. These included issues like mantling speed seeming sluggish, incorrect display of the Dark Ops Calling Card, and problems with melee weapons in custom classes.

Not long after noting the issue, Treyarch swiftly addressed it, showcasing their ability to quickly resolve event-specific troubles. With the elimination counter previously stuck at 25 billion, the player community had already surpassed the prerequisite for unlocking the Hand Cannon Scorestreak.
