Ugh, where do I even start with this? It’s like a bad dream come true or something, you know? Those who were all-in on Managed Democracy are having a pretty bad day. The Illuminate — yeah, those guys — have made it to Super Earth. Just imagine them swarming around, causing chaos in our cities, and turning things to rubble. Honestly, it’s high time we pick up whatever weapons we can find and get in there. Our Helldivers have got to come back and defend our turf. It’s ours, right?

So, Super Earth…home sweet home. Kind of funny when you think about it. All those skyscrapers — like, why do they even exist? But hey, that’s where the fight is. Among those tall buildings, with Illuminate dropping chaos from above. The city’s our battlefield, and we’re supposed to make a difference, liberate some neighborhoods or something. Liberate — sounds fancy, huh?

Repel the invasion, they say. As if it’s that simple. Our job? Push back those squids. Feels like playing tug-of-war in space, if you get what I mean. One minute you’ve got the upper hand, next minute, not so much. Nothing’s straightforward anymore.

Now, check this out: we’ve got some heavy artillery — not literally, but you get my drift — buried underneath our oh-so-democratic streets. Time to get those Planetary Defense Cannons up and running. Because why not? A cannon or two might just shake things up, and put the Illuminate in their place. Or at least that’s what we hope.

Backup? Sure, we’ve got SEAF troops, like small bands of hopeful warriors. They’ll either do their own thing or team up with Helldivers for a bit. Lead ’em if you can. Not like we have a choice, huh?

Oh, and the civilians — almost forgot. They’re still out there too, running around in panic. Helldivers have got this duty to, you know, protect them. But just a heads up: friendly fire’s not gonna win you any medals. Be careful out there.

On the gear side, last week, we rolled out a whole new weapon customization thing. Feels like we were just prepping for this moment. Facing those squid troops — Crescent Overseer and Fleshmob — should be a bit easier now. But who am I kidding? It’s a mess, and we need all the help we can get.
