Sure thing, let’s get a bit… well, all over the place with this.

So here’s the deal. Stealth games. Classic stuff, right? I mean, remember Metal Gear? 1987! Yeah, feels like a hundred years ago, but that was the big bang, or whatever you wanna call it, for stealth-action stuff. Thief, Hitman, Splinter Cell, they all piggybacked off that, giving us the sneaky experiences we crave. But man, somewhere along the line, it got all complicated. Like, what happened to just creeping around and not getting caught? Anyway, “No Sun to Worship” is trying to bring that OG vibe back. Sorta feels like they’re putting the spring back in the ninja step. Or maybe I’m just nostalgic.
Quick disclaimer: okay, there’s this pic of the game. Looks pretty retro, if that’s your thing. The visuals kinda scream “end of the world” — makes me think of eating stale popcorn at a silent film fest. Strange, huh?
Anyway, so the setup in this game is simple. You got six chapters, each a bite-sized brain teaser. Get in, take out the targets, make it out alive. Every player gets the same gear, which is kinda cool ’cause it tests your creativity. So you can sneak, disable cameras, and if you’re like me, break some lights here and there. Hoarding those bullets becomes a game in itself. Even when you’re outta ammo, just bluff. I mean, who’s gonna know, right?
Oh, now there’s another shot of the game. I don’t know if it’s just me, but this game’s vibes are totally retro. There’s this bleak, sorta post-apocalyptic angle. Makes you feel like you’re wandering around a world that’s been, I dunno, nuked into silence. The kind of silence that’s loud in its own way, if you catch my drift.
For the old-school stealth fans, if you wanna test your two-step sneaky moves as if it’s 1999, “No Sun to Worship” is your ticket. Probably less the high-tech lasers and more drama you’d whisper about over cheap diner coffee. Or maybe that’s just me filling in the gaps with my imagination.
There’s a shady game box thingy — not shady-shady but mysterious-like. It’s got these stars on it, but honest, who trusts ratings these days? It’s all a matter of taste. Speaking of taste, this game gives you the whole buffet. Sneak, pop a light out, creep in the shadows — whatever floats your boat.
You’re out of bullets? Wave the gun around with confidence. Folks might never guess it’s empty. Makes me chuckle a bit imagining the panic on NPC faces. Think about it: a dead world with everyone piecing together what’s left while another universe just watches.
And hey, it’s coming to Xbox Series X|S if that’s your gear. Maybe you’ll find me around there, way more lost than I’d like to admit. Or not. Who knows, right?
