Nintendo Releases – November 14, 2024 – Updates

In case you missed it last week, we saw the inclusion of The Quest of Ki in the Archives from Namco’s Vs series. Beyond that, we pretty much covered everything in RFN 900.

Seems like the Horizon series just can’t catch a break when it comes to timing its releases. The original was dwarfed by the launch of Breath of the Wild, the sequel had to contend with Elden Ring, and they even timed a remaster to come out the same week as Dragon Age’s latest installment. This week, Lego Horizon Adventures is trying to make its mark, but it’s got stiff competition from the impressive releases of Dragon Quest III HD-2D and Tetris Forever. In other notable happenings this week, Petit Island continues to entice fans who followed the Wholesome Direct closely. Additionally, a fresh trio of Irem shooters is being packaged together, and the EggConsole is rolling out yet another version of the original Ys.

North America

There’s a variety of selections this week. The new Dragon Quest III HD-2D is hitting the shelves at $59.99/CA$79.99, sharing the spotlight with Lego Horizon Adventures at the same price point. Goblin Slayer: Another Adventure – Nightmare Feast joins the fray on Friday for $39.99/CA$51.99. Tetris Forever is set for a Tuesday release at $34.99/CA$44.99.

Other offerings include Debut Project: Cooking Cafe and Little Big Adventure – Twinsen’s Quest, each priced at $29.99/CA$38.99. For those into island vibes, Petit Island will cost $29.99/CA$39.99, while Aerofly FS Flight Simulator takes flight on Monday for $24.99/CA$28.99.

Over in Europe, Lego Horizon Adventures goes for €69.99/£59.99, while Dragon Quest III HD-2D is priced at €59.99/£49.99. Goblin Slayer: Another Adventure – Nightmare Feast lands on Friday for €39.99/£35.99. Tetris Forever will make its mark on Tuesday, coming in at €34.99/£29.50.

Japan

In Japan, Lego Horizon Adventures sells for ¥7980. Dragon Quest III HD-2D follows closely at ¥7678. A new addition, UFO Robot Grendizer, is priced at ¥5280. If cooking simulators are your game, Debut Project: Cooking Cafe is available at ¥4980.

Tetris Forever can be yours for ¥3960, with Petit Island coming in at ¥3500. For those seeking something off the beaten path, Deserted is priced at ¥2350, and Nairi: Rising Tide at ¥2166.
