Sure thing, here we go:

Okay, so Pokémon games have this habit of surprising you with which little beasties end up being competitive champs. Sometimes the odd ones, with just the right moves, end up being stars. But… Pokémon GO? Nah, it plays by different rules. They’ve stripped the game down to basics for mobile play, tossing out a ton of the cool moves and mechanics. Stuff like Abilities, Held Items, and even basic stats just vanish, poof! Poor Pokémon like Accelgor, which used to be all about speed and strategy, just don’t get the same love in Pokémon GO. Makes me wonder, could they change that?
So, you ever notice speed is kind of a big deal? Some Pokémon have that killer Speed stat, letting them hit first and possibly sway the whole battle. Not that speed is everything, mind you. Without a killer moveset or good Attack, forget it. But it’s a good launching pad, you know? Anyway, Accelgor’s speed is 145 in the main games. Not in Pokémon GO, though. It’s like running a race with your shoelaces tied together. I mean, I’m just saying, give these speedy ones a chance! Maybe Niantic could bring in a new Speed concept?
Now, about the most useful Pokémon in Pokémon GO. It’s usually the obvious picks, right? Legendary ones, or starters with Mega Evolutions. They’re all pretty solid. But, those everyday Pokémon, they get shoved to the back. But hey, what if speedsters like Accelgor, Ninjask, or Greninja could, I dunno, break into the scene somehow?
Anyway, Pokémon GO’s combat isn’t turn-based, as you know. It’s all real-time, so speed still matters a lot. Fast and Charged Moves are the name of the game. What if Speed made those Charged Moves quicken up a bit? Or made those Fast Moves even faster? I don’t know, maybe it could shake things up.
Now, hear me out. Pokémon GO is all about exploring the real world, right? So maybe Speed could have uses outside battles too. Like, when you walk to earn Candy with your Buddy Pokémon? Imagine if Speed made you walk less. Or when you’re hatching Eggs, a speedy Pokémon could cut down the distance. Just spitballing here.
Now, adding Speed could be a huge deal, I get it. Could mess around with the game balance big time. All the PvP and PvE stuff would need tweaks. But hey, they added stuff like Mega Evolution and Dynamax, so they’re not afraid of change. I think it’s worth a shot. Even if it’s not on the radar, don’t rule it out. Some Pokémon might finally get their due!
