Alright, so get this—Sony finally gave us some crumbs about this week’s State of Play. Honestly, their official blurb was like, bare minimum. I mean, PlayStation isn’t exactly showering us with first-party games this year, but I had this wild hunch about their big 2025 game, Ghost of Yotei. Felt like maybe, just maybe, it’d pop up.
But yeah, it’s dropping in October, and we’ve seen zilch. Like, where’s the hype train? Am I missing something, or are they just keeping it low-key? Anyway—
Oh, and there’s this bit about targeting cookies? Gotta tweak those settings, I guess, to see the full scoop. Tech stuff, am I right?
Anyway, Ghost of Yotei did make a cameo in the showcase. Blink and you’d miss it, though. Sucker Punch tossed us a mini teaser—it’s like they’re whispering, “More’s coming.” And yeah, we’ve gotta hang tight till July for a full-on State of Play dedicated to it. Ugh, waiting games.
July’s presentation is supposed to reveal more about Yotei’s gameplay—think mechanics, exploration, combat. The whole shebang. Fingers crossed it’s in early July. Later and I might combust from anticipation.
Not to mention, October 2 is the big day for PS5, and I bet by 2025, PC folks will finally get a taste, too. Seriously, why the wait, though?
