Whoa! So guess what dropped like a secret recipe? FromSoftware finally told us when Duo Expeditions is hitting Elden Ring Nightreign. Funny thing, it’s just a schmancy way to say “hey, bring a buddy, it’s two-player co-op now.” Yeah, no joke. They kept us in solo land long enough, didn’t they? Which they fixed super quick for loners. But three-player co-op? That’s been around a bit, like that one stubborn puzzle piece under your couch.
Not sure why it took this long to smash us with two-player co-op, but it’s here. Well, almost. Part of that game’s next mega update, apparently. Oh, right, here comes the good stuff. Patch 1.02, dropping Wednesday, July 30. Is that just me, or is July always sneaky quick? Anyway, Duo Expeditions — that’s the shiniest bit, but there’s more sprinkled in. The devs said we’ll get a dash of quality life tweaks. You know, like when you find extra fries at the bottom of the bag — nice surprise!
One thing they spilled — something about Relic filtering, which sounds handy. More filters to sift through the treasure trove we’ve all been hoarding like magpies. Gotta love it.
Anyway — oh wait — yeah. Nightreign hit over 5 million copies sold. Mind-boggling numbers, huh? Perfect timing for this update, just before Everdark Sovereign cycle checks in. That’s gonna spice things up with Nightlords Tricephalos, Augur, and others. Enhanced versions, they say. Bet they’ve got some sneaky tricks up their sleeves.
Oh yeah, if you blinked and missed the last few boss parties, we threw together a map guide with all those juicy rewards. But I’ll leave you to dig into that treasure chest yourself. Keep your eyes peeled!
