Alright, so here’s the thing — the big Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 livestream happened today, like clockwork. People are hyped, obviously. These updates are all about the new characters, right? And yep, they showed ’em.
But here’s the real kicker: the Fate/stay night collab is finally hitting. It’s been, what, almost a year since they teased this? Back when Fate/stay night got that much-needed English version. I mean, was anyone else shocked it took this long? Felt like waiting for a bus on a rainy day.
Okay, let’s dig into the new characters. We’re getting Saber and Archer from the Fate series. Saber’s got this Wind/Destruction vibe — 5-Star, naturally. And Archer? Quantum/Hunt. He’s actually free for anyone logging in during the collab. How cool is that? Anyway, they’ll hang around longer than usual, so no rush. Collab runs from 3.4 to 3.6, around November.
Switching gears — Phainon! Loads of you have been waiting, right? Been seeing him since 3.0, chilling on Amphoreus. Now he’s playable. Another 5-Star with a Physical/Destruction kit. It’s like they’re throwing stars around like confetti.
And OMG, rerun banners galore! Six of ’em. Tribbie, Sunday, Sparkle in Phase 1. Then Firefly, Jingliu, Blade in Phase 2. Seriously, this phase is so packed no new characters are coming. Anyone upset? I’m not. Seems fair.
Oh, and shoutout to the Stellaron Hunters. They’re getting a boost — Kafka, Silver Wolf, Blade. Plus, a new look for Firefly. Can you smell the drama with Jingliu? Crossing fingers she doesn’t join those edgy mercenaries. Or maybe she should, for the plot twist.
Mark your calendars: July 2nd for the 3.4 launch, and look out for the July 23rd switch to Phase 2. Missed the livestream? No worries, catch the VOD linked below.
Also, remember 3.3 back in May? Hyacine joined along with The Herta’s comeback. Then Cipher wandered in last week with some old faves. Oh, and drama alert — a recast for the Trailblazers’ voices. Part of this whole SAG-AFTRA thing. Guess who stood in solidarity? The actors are legends. Though, a few roles are still up in the air, like Dan Heng and Himeko. Keep your ears peeled.
And that’s a wrap. This got a bit tangled, didn’t it? But hey, such is life.
