Okay, so here’s the thing: this whole Nintendo Switch Online trial thing — yeah, it’s back, kinda like that TV series you thought was canceled but really wasn’t. And most of the folks over at NWR? They’re in on it now. Cool, right?
Anyway, last fall they had this trial program, and now it’s coming around again. They’re letting more people try the app. Expansion Pack subs, if you’re 18 and up, can apply today at 6 p.m. ET. You’ve got a window from 11 a.m. Monday to 10:59 a.m. Wednesday. I mean, it’s a small window, but what isn’t these days? Oh, and if you’re in Japan, there might be some lottery thing. Lucky or unlucky? Who knows. Everyone else, it’s a mad dash — first come, first served.
From July 28, 9 p.m. ET, until August 10 at 9:59 p.m., you can join in on the fun. And here’s what’s different from the last time: instead of 10,000 players, they’re letting in 40,000! That’s a whole lot more, right? Plus, folks from Canada, Mexico, and Brazil can jump in with the US, Japan, and a bunch of European countries. Oh, and groups of up to four can apply together. Team up with your pals or your frenemies — up to you.
