Alright, hang on to your hats, because we’re about to dive into the wild world of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Ever heard of it? It’s this Soulslike RPG coming at us from China, where Leenzee’s cooking up some Ming Dynasty action. Sounds fancy, right?
People are buzzing like bees about it every time it pops up somewhere. And now? We’re seriously close to launch day. Like, close enough where you start wondering if you should call in sick just to play. Not that I’d ever do that. That’s just irresponsible… right?
Oh, and mark your calendars. July 24 is the day it’s crashing onto PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Day one on Game Pass if you’re into that kind of thing. But here’s the kicker: what’s your gear looking like? ‘Cause the PC specs just dropped. I mean, I never understand half these tech specs, but I pretend I do to sound cool.
Wuchang might not flaunt every shiny new graphics trick like its shiny cousin Black Myth: Wukong (so many black myth-this and that, I swear), but it’s still a looker. Doesn’t demand you build a NASA-grade PC just to catch a glimpse. More like middle-of-the-road – bring-your-lunch-to-work kind of specs.
So, they gave us specs. Two of them. No idea what kind of frame rates you’ll hit though. Upscaling’s in the mix (DLSS/FSR) — whatever that means. Not my forte, but hey, it’s important, apparently.
Minimum Specs
- OS: Windows 10 64bit.
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8400/AMD Ryzen 5 1600. Solid lineup, I guess.
- RAM: 16GB RAM (make sure it’s dual channel, whatever that does).
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/Radeon RX 580 8GB.
- DirectX: 12. Sounds like a secret agent name, doesn’t it?
- Storage: 60GB. Might need to delete some embarrassing photos from 2010.
Recommended Specs
- OS: Windows 10/11 64bit.
- CPU: Intel Core i7-9700/AMD Ryzen 5 5500.
- RAM: 16GB RAM.
- GPU: GeForce RTX 2070/Radeon RX 5700 XT/Intel Arc A750. A mouthful.
- DirectX: 12.
- Storage: 60GB. Make room for more giant robots.
And here’s a little nugget for ya: launch times. So we got Tokyo kicking off at 11am on July 24, and then you got spots like New York hitting it at 10pm the day before. What’s the deal with time zones? I’ll never understand.
- Los Angeles: July 23, 7pm.
- Chicago & Bogota: July 23, 9pm.
- New York: July 23, 10pm.
- Buenos Aires & Sao Paulo: July 23, 11pm.
- London: July 24, 3am.
- Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome: July 24, 4am.
- Sydney: July 24, midday madness at 12pm.
And there you have it! Pencil in those dates or just ignore me and live on the edge. Whatever floats your boat. I’ll be somewhere trying to remember which day it was even launching on. Classic me.
