Sure thing, here’s a version of the article that’s got that raw, human touch:

So, I guess I’m supposed to tell you all about how everyone’s flipping out over the Switch 2. But, honestly, if you’ve tried snagging one like I did, you already know it’s bonkers out there. Seriously, I felt like I was jumping through flaming hoops just to get my hands on one. Anyway, in just four days since its big debut on June 5th, Nintendo’s little gadget has managed to sell over 3.5 million units! That’s worldwide, folks. Fastest-selling Nintendo gizmo ever, or so they tell me.
Now, cue the predictable PR chatter. Doug Bowser, the big cheese over at Nintendo of America, had his say too (because of course he did):
> “Fans around the world are showing their enthusiasm for Nintendo Switch 2 as an upgraded way to play at home and on the go. We are thankful for their response and happy to see the fun they are already having with Nintendo Switch 2 as they explore new features and games that bring friends and family together in new ways.”
I mean, really? Did he get that from some dusty PR manual? But hey, he’s not wrong. I’m not saying I could do better (I flunked Public Relations 101, if you must know), but he’s got a point. They’re launching with some crazy stuff like Mario Kart World and a bunch of other games. Oh, and then there’s Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon. Talk about a lineup.
But here’s the kicker — getting your hands on a Switch 2 is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It’s either sold out or you’re waiting around for Nintendo to give you the go-ahead to buy one. I guess in the meantime, you can keep that piggy bank full for all those nifty accessories. Or maybe snatch up some Switch games that can level up once you finally unbox that bad boy.
Oh, and if you’re hankering for more info on the Switch 2 — like what kind of magic it’s packing under the hood, the game roster, and when you can maybe, possibly, hopefully buy one — just hit up www.nintendo.com. And for a little extra fun, check out the Pure Nintendo Podcast. They chat about all the new bells and whistles, and how this little wonder can make hanging out with your friends and fam a blast.
Who knew a gaming console could stir up such a frenzy? But, I guess that’s the world we live in now. Game on!
